PNSAS SAP K-12 Training is standardized for both in-person and online delivery. Cost may vary by training provider. The PNSAS SAP K-12 Training offers Act 48 (13 hours) and Act 45 (14 hours) continuing education to eligible participants.
Agency Name: Northwest Tri County IU 5 Type of Training/Event: K - 12 SAP Online Status of training event: Open Event Description: The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Student Assistance Program (SAP), is designed to assist school and agency personnel within the IU5 tri-county area, identifying issues including alcohol, tobacco, other drugs and mental health issues which pose a barrier to a student's success. The primary goal of SAP is to help students overcome these barriers. To become a SAP team member, participants must attend each of the 3 days.
