Event Description: The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Student Assistance Program (SAP) is designed to assist school and agency personnel within the IU5 Tri-County area in identifying issues including alcohol, tobacco, other drugs and mental health issues which pose a barrier to a student's success. The primary goal of SAP is to help students overcome these barriers. To become a SAP team member, participants must register to attend this 3-day training. The cost of this training is $330 per person and includes materials and lunch. Participantsmust attend each of the 3 days and should be aware that state requirements for this training include a take-home competency task (homework) to be completed after the training.
