Event Description: The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Student Assistance Program (SAP), is designed to assist school personnel and agency personnel in identifying issues including alcohol, tobacco, other drugs, and mental health issues which pose a barrier to a student’s success. The primary goal of the Student Assistance Program (SAP) is to help students overcome these barriers.
To become a SAP team member, participants must register to attend this three-day training. The cost of this training is $330.00 per person. Participants must attend each of the 3 days and should be aware that state requirements for this training include a take-home, competency task (homework) to be completed after the training. 30 Act 48 hours will be reported by PDE once all requirements are met.
